The PreFlightGear Tactile Checklist is an aftermarket, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) cockpit management and situational awareness tool.

NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR OFFICIAL DOCUMENTATION

Under no circumstances does this product replace, supersede, or amend the official FAA-approved Pilot’s Operating Handbook (POH), Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM), or official manufacturer checklists. Aircraft limitations, V-speeds, and emergency procedures are subject to change based on airworthiness directives, supplemental type certificates (STCs), aircraft serial numbers, and specific weight and balance profiles.

PILOT IN COMMAND (PIC) RESPONSIBILITY

In accordance with 14 CFR § 91.3, the Pilot in Command is directly responsible for, and is the final authority as to, the operation of the aircraft. By purchasing and using this product, the PIC acknowledges it is their sole responsibility to verify that every item, speed, and procedure listed on the PreFlightGear checklist strictly aligns with their specific aircraft's current official documentation prior to conducting any flight operations.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PreFlightGear, its founders, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use, misuse, or reliance upon this product. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of life, injury, property damage, aircraft damage, loss of revenue, or FAA enforcement actions. The maximum liability of PreFlightGear under any circumstance is strictly limited to the original purchase price of the product.
